Simone Geißler

Simone Geißler was born in Chemnitz in 1979. She has made Berlin her home for more than 24 years and has continually deepened her passion for working in front of and behind the camera. Simone is not only an actress but also a screenwriter and director. Her heart beats for the art of filmmaking, and she sees herself as a storyteller in front of and behind the camera. She has appeared in numerous feature films, series, and short films. Her projects include DIE SNOBS, ALLES KLARA, SPIRIT BERLIN, and the international feature film production THE BITTER TASTE. Simone also plays the lead role in the post-apocalyptic feature film ZWISCHEN DEN WELTEN. In the feature film HAUS DER STILLE, supported by NORDMEDIA, she took on the lead role and worked as a screenwriter and director. The film will be shown in 2023 at a well-known German festival (announcement: October 4th, 2023), FRAUENWELTEN in Berlin and the CINE POR MUJERES festival in Madrid. The cinema premiere will take place in Berlin and Hanover in December 2023.
