Giovanna Nodari was born and raised in Milan. After drama school she moved to Rome, where she started her acting career. Soon she was seen in international productions such as “John Paul II” (with John Voigt and directed by J. Kent Harrison) as well as national productions such as “Perdiamoci di vista” (by Carlo Verdone) and also in television series such as “Incantesimo” and ” Don Matteo”.
In 2012 Giovanna moved to Berlin with her son Pietro and since then she has appeared in various film and television productions.
In 2018 she played a judge in the short film “Farta”, which in 2019 was selected for the official selection of the “Italian Oscar” “David di Donatello” and received other nominations and awards.
In 2020 followed roles in the comedy miniseries “All The Way Up” and in the short film “For One Night” followed, which is in this year’s competition of the “Festival Mix” in Mexico City.
In 2021 Giovanna was convincing as “Gina Rossi” in the six-part SWR series “Spätzle Arrabbiata – oder eine Hand wäscht die andere”.
